  • Deliver fuel in a safe and efficient manner

  • Maintain the delivery truck which includes reviewing the maintenance record, performing inspections and reporting all vehicle conditions requiring attention for continued safe operation

  • Clean driving record with a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License

  • Ability to obtain (in a specified amount of time) HAZMAT, tanker and air brake endorsements as well as a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce (if you do not already have stated certificate and endorsements)

  • Ability to lift and pull equipment that weighs 50 to 75 lbs.

VIEW JOBS 9/18/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-12-17T00:00 Nevada - Tonopah Job Summary -- Essential Functions/Duties Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Technician; Works under general technical guidance and the oversight of a Team or Site Lead and specializes in maintenance and operations of ground-based radar systems. * Operates and maintains ground-based radar systems and all associated peripherals, support equipment and test equipment. Support equipment may include: * The Smokey Sam Visual Queuing System and associated munitions * Generators and fuel systems * Special purpose vehicles, trailers or simulators * Maintenance includes, but may not be limited to, activities that include equipment deployment (setup and tear down), performance of preventative maintenance, logical troubleshooting and repair (corrective maintenance) to the component level and equipment modification and overhaul. * Operates and maintains radar systems and peripherals to the standards established in equipment Technical Orders and Manuals, commercial manuals, company procedures, engineering drawings and technical data. * Uses and maintains provided tools and test equipment in accordance with Government standards and Company policy. * Uses logical troubleshooting techniques, test equipment, technical data and accepted maintenance techniques to isolate, to the component level, and repair faulty equipment. Must have: * The ability to read and understand functional, schematic and wiring diagrams, * Strong understanding of basic test equipment associated with the maintenance of radar systems such as Digital Volt Meters, Power Meters, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes and Signal Generators. * Responsible for data entry into business applications for Maintenance Data Collection and associated administrative tasks. * Manages general site maintenance and administrative tasks associated with the deployment, maintenance and operation of the assigned system. * Manages the oversight and on the job training for lower level or newly assigned technicians: * Operations and Maintenance qualification training on the assigned system(s), peripherals, ancillary systems and test equipment * The administrative and other tasks associated with the assigned system(s), site or location. * Company policies procedures and standards * Performs other related duties as required. Other Responsibilities Each employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to the employee's job. Working Conditions Duty location is the high desert close to Tonopah, NV. Duties are performed both indoors and outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions. Climbing stairs, ladders, scaffolds, towers and equipment to a minimum of 60 feet, using approved climbing gear, may be required. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Due to the remote location and area covered by the TECR, extensive driving in all weather conditions is required. Some driving of heavy vehicles and/or trailer towing may be required. The qualified candidate will be able to work in this field environment at this remote location and be able to work some shift work, long hours, some weekends and support occasional over-night operations. Requriements -- Education, Technical and Work Experience Education and/or training in electronics from an accredited college, technical school, or equivalent military training is required with at least seven years of hands-on or teaching experience. Basic knowledge of college math, DC and AC circuits, digital logic and solid-state devices is required. ISCET certification may be required. CompTA Network + or Security + may be required. Comphrehensive understanding of general electronics and electronic, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and computer systems along with test equipment used to maintain and repair radar equipment is necessary. Experience with tubes, transistors, logic gates and/or high-power RF devices may be required. Successful candidates will have expert level troubleshooting and soldering skills. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada driver's license. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance up to Top Secret. An existing security clearance is strongly desired. May be required to obtain and maintain up to a Class A CDL with HazMat indorsement.
