SUMMARY: The PRN Mobile Dental Driver is responsible for driving and maintaining the mobile dental vehicle (MDV). The PRN driver will be responsible for positioning the MDV at the location of service and assisting with set up of the vehicle i.e., assistance with pop out sections, securing to shore power where appropriate, logistical layout of site, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (includes the following, other duties may be assigned).
Drives the mobile dental vehicle to and from specified locations.
Reviews city routes prior to departure to ensure accessibility to city roadways.
Manages systems related to the vehicle i.e., filling water tanks, emptying waste water tanks, generator usage, etc.
Maintains the vehicle and performs checks and logs.
Responsible for keeping the vehicle cleaned, serviced, and fueled.
Ensures Department of Transportation (DOT) inspections, emission, registration and insurance are up to date.
Awareness of safety for staff and patients while in and around the MDV.
Ensure patient confidentiality and EMR security at all times.
Maintain patient information within HIPAA
Keep other care team members informed when situations occur that disrupts timely patient flow through site.
Consistently participates in and actively adheres to patient care expectations to attain clinical goals set forth in the PCHG Health Care Plans and the Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance (QI/QA).

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES:
High School Diploma or GED.
One-year experience driving large vehicles.
Valid Florida Driver's License.
CDL Class B with air brakes endorsement.
Proof of auto insurance.
Current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
Ability to use basic mathematical skills.
Able to preform repetitive tasks.
Exceptional Customer Service skills.
Excellent grammar, spelling and interpersonal skills.
