POSITION SUMMARY: Starting pay $28.00 The primary purpose of a Driver is to deliver finished product and pick up soiled product at our customer locations (hospitals and healthcare facilities). This position will represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Collect finished carts: Roll the carts from Load Building area to back dock Load the delivery truck by pushing the carts onto the back of the appropriate truck.

Deliver clean to customers. Transport soiled linen back to plant. Follow all federal, state, and local requirements according to D.O.T. rules and regulations.

Follow all OSHA rules as it applies to blood borne pathogens. Coordinate daily activities with Transportation, Plant Managers, and Team Leaders. Must be able to adapt to change and unscheduled events.

Maintain vehicle, preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and disinfecting after transporting of soiled linen Will work rotating shifts. Understand, observe and adhere to all safety procedures and policies, including PPE. Assist and perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Class A CDL required. Clean driving record. Must present a 7 year with accident Motor Vehicle Report during interview process High School Education, GED and formal education I training preferred.

Basic computer knowledge and the willingness to learn new computer applications. Good analytical skills to be able to determine number of carts required for orders. 2 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industry preferred Previous experience as a Driver required. Ability to work in a noisy fast paced environment.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and reach for individual items for long periods of time during loading and unloading of truck. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds during loading and unloading of truck. Constant reaching for individual items and stacks of items during loading and unloading of truck.

Job Applicant Evaluation The following are minimal standards that are established for all job applicants who will drive company vehicles. These standards also apply to any employee candidate who is seeking a position which requires driving a company vehicle. These standards will be communicated to job applicants affected by this policy.

Basic Qualifications are as follows: • Must have at least five years driving experience (basic driver's license) • Can read and speak the English language well enough to do the job (including being able to read traffic signs, complete forms, and converse with enforcement officers) • Is physically qualified to operate the vehicle (DOT Medical Certification for CMV drivers) • Has provided a list of past violations • Possess a current and valid driver license of the proper class. • Can safely operate the type of vehicle that will be driven. A road test will be conducted for applicants who are CMV drivers, and per DOT and/or State regulation requirements. • Have an acceptable motor vehicle record as defined below: Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Disqualifications are as follows:

MVR findings within the past 36 months that DISQUALIFY a job applicant or a current company driver from consideration include: Driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Speeding more than 15 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.

Refusal to undergo testing for alcohol or a controlled substance as required by any federal, state, or local jurisdiction when suspected of driving under the influence. Failure to stop and report an accident or leaving the scene of an accident. Using a motor vehicle for commission of a felony.

Operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license. Negligent homicide arising out of the use of a motor vehicle. Speed contest, drag, highway, or reckless driving.

Operating a motor vehicle without the owners' authority. Permitting an unlicensed driver to drive. Two or more At-fault accidents Speeding violations less than 15 MPH over the posted speed limit Three or more Moving violations Driving too fast for conditions violations Unsafe lane change/failure to signal violations Following too closely, tailgating violations Failing to stop at a stop sign or traffic signal violations Equipment violations Any other moving violation At fault accident resulting in Preventable accidents Any combination of violations and any type of accidents totaling three or more Other trends of violations that show unsafe driving practices. Additionally, MVR findings of two or more moving violations within the past twelve months will result in the disqualification of a Company driver.
