JOB SUMMARY: This person will primarily be a preloader loading trucks and spotting trailers. Occasionally making delivery runs when necessary. This role could possibly at some point turn into a full time driving position. Work Days: Mon,Tues, Friday, Sat & Sun Work Hours: 6pm to 5am ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment. Maintain accurate driving log information and data. Perform pre and post trip inspections on truck according to DOT and company maintenance checklist. Keep inside of truck clean. * Comply with all company policies, safety policies and procedures, and DOT and OSHA requirements. * Secure cargo prior to and during transit. * Maintain appropriate driver's license and DOT Medical card. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as speak effectively with customers or employees of the Company. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and to calculate percent.
