CDL A Driver

The CDL A Driver at Ewing Outdoor Supply is responsible for customer relations, customer service, branch and vehicle maintenance, and daily branch deliveries. As a CDL A Driver, you will provide exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the safe and timely transport of materials.

Responsibilities:

• Transport materials to and from retail or distribution centers
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and identify any mechanical issues
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Comply with CDL rules and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Load and unload materials as required
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license
• Proven work experience as a CDL Driver
• Experience with electronic equipment and software such as GPS, AVL units, and CB radios
• Thorough knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• Ability to adapt to changing traffic and weather conditions
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and handle the physical demands of the job
• Willingness to submit to background and drug checks
