The CDD Support Specialist's role is to perform the operational aspects of the bank's AML Customer Due Diligence program and work in conjunction with the Enhanced Due Diligence Department. Duties include initial Customer Due Diligence (CDD) screening, triaging of EDD Alerts, collection of missing required documentation and information on high-risk entity types, and providing support for EDD analysts, as needed.
Analyze New Business CDD report to identify higher risk customers that will require
EDD and inclusion onto the high-risk customer list.
Triage and analyze CDD & EDD Alerts and escalate when further EDD is needed.
Must be comfortable being a Liaison to the stores to be able to collect need documentation and missing information
Analyze and determine the Daily Customer Due Diligence(CDD) report and conduct appropriate follow-up for missing CDD information
Assist EDD Analysts in support of daily assigned tasks.
Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position, and keep up to date on regulation changes.
Maintain working knowledge of our policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations that apply to your position.
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree in business, business management, criminal justice, accounting, or related field preferred.
1-3 year's previous banking experience.
Basic understanding of the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT
Act and Office of Foreign Assets Control.
