Job Description:

Summary:

Work cooperatively with both the lead teacher and teacher to provide a developmentally appropriate early childhood program. Help supervise the children with daily transitions. Help supervise the playground to ensure the health and safety of the children. Help supervise children as they engage in their daily activities.

Essential Functions:

• Assist with general classroom setup, cleaning, and tidying.

• Prepare snacks and clean the kitchen.

• Help maintain the supply inventory.

• Attend the Center's student workshops.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Full-time, temporary.

• Non-Exempt.

• 35 hours/week.

Required Education and Experience:

• Child care experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Current AU student.

• Education or Psychology Major and Education.
