Job Responsibilities

Tri-County Technical College's Corporate & Community Education Division is searching for a Journeyman - Master Electrician, with industry experience, to teach classroom and hands-on lab instruction, following and completing course objectives, competencies, assessing students, retaining students, classroom management, and care of equipment.

Job Duties include:

Plan and participate in the instruction of classes for the program; prepare supplemental materials and quizzes; maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
Prepare objectives, assignments, grading standards, attendance polices and course syllabus to be distributed at first class meeting; utilizing text books; prepare, proctor and grade quizzes; and prepare instructional materials and teaching aids.
Follow objectives and course outlines for each class; begin and end each class on time; turn in reports, final grades; revise course content and objectives as required; and administer student class evaluations.
Assist in the evaluation of activities and operations of assigned program; ensure that operations meet the goals and objectives of the college and the needs of the student population.

This is a part-time position, with the availability of contract hours and scheduling (day/evening)) depending upon enrollment needs. Minimum and Additional Requirements

Must have experience at a journey or technician level with at least 5 years of expertise in trade or a minimum of three years of experience as a certified teacher in an electrical vocational/technical training program.

VIEW JOBS Location: Pendleton, SC ER Bonus: $1000This position will be located in our Pendleton, SC location on Day Shift.Main Objective:Assist department supervisors in monitoring throughput and workflow to ensure the production schedule is met. Support to personnel in the following areas: prioritizing and assigning work orders.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Receive and review work orders from the Schedulers, order required components from other warehouse locations for the Work Orders in a timely manner, and verify that all components on the Work Order are in stock and that revisions are current.</li><li>Work Order schedule distribution and shift setup. Coordinate the assignment of Work Orders according to the router and assign to prepackaging personnel based on schedule priority.</li><li>Monitor daily activities of department employees and assist with employee reviews.</li><li>Train staff in performing ERP and/or manufacturing system functions.</li><li>Conduct and participate in shift launches and shift handoff's pertaining to the prepackaging department.</li><li>Ensures the DHR (Device History Record) is complete and accurate, including all approvals, prior to forwarding the Work Order kit for further processing.</li><li>Troubleshoot material issues which include Warehouse Inventory, Work Order material issuance etc.</li><li>Ensure that components and kits are processed in accordance with the production schedule and/or expedite list in a timely manner by working with cross functional departments.</li><li>Review daily work order output logs.</li><li>Review all work orders in Pending location daily and work with scheduler, buyers to resolve pending issues.</li><li>Notify Supervisor of any production, safety, or performance issues as they arise.</li><li>Perform Nonconformance rework; prioritize pending work orders by coordinating with cross functional departments.</li><li>Complete material transactions and reconciliations in ERP and/or manufacturing systems ensuring all specified prepackaging Work Center operations are complete and closed.</li><li>Initiate maintenance or IT work order ticket to resolve any equipment issues needed.</li><li>Reconcile material from work order when shortage or other issues arises from post prepackaging operation.</li><li>Performs daily walk through of all prepackaging and label generation areas ensuring area is clean and organized, all materials, bins, staging racks, etc. are properly labeled, and there are no safety hazards present.
