Job Responsibilities

Tri-County Technical College is seeking adjunct instructors for our Corporate and CommunityEducation Division. TheAdjunct Commercial Driving License/ Truck Driving Instructorposition is apart-time/temporary position that will not exceed 25 hours per weekand will teach classroom, range, skills and behind-the-wheel portions of the truck driver training program for noncredit students. In addition, this position will provide training on the safe handling of Dump Trucks for various construction positions.

The successful candidate must maintain a flexible schedule as work hours are determined byenrollment and can change from week to week.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Must have a valid CDL and a minimum of 3 years of driving experience, to include experiencewith driving and handling dump trucks.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to individuals with training experience or Truck Driver TrainingCertification from SC Department of Motor Vehicles.
