Community Choice Aggregation programs (CCAs) are a rapidly growing segment of the electricity market; they are formed by local governments to supply electricity and related services to customers in their geographic area in place of the incumbent utility. CCAs
require a broad and complex range of back office systems, operations and data to enable startup and management of their program, and contract with firms like Calpine Energy Solutions to perform these services.
The CCA Services Analyst plays a key role in delivering these services. The position will work with IT systems like CRM and databases which are at the heart of our CCA business. The successful candidate will perform daily Q/A processes as well as learn a wide
range of technical assignments quickly. He/she should get excited about building a strong technical and data foundation working in the weeds to ensure our systems and data meet requirements.
The position also offers exposure to complex energy and customer data, and the ability to learn and apply advanced data management practices including SQL queries, data reporting and data analytics. The successful candidate will need to be proactive and team-oriented
to learn quickly and deliver on multiple assignments.
The role will interact extensively with Operations, IT, Client Services and with clients to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks. Professional, clear and precise verbal and written communication skills are required to ensure information is accurately
exchanged with both technical and non-technical counterparts.
The work is dynamic and requires a high degree of focus to ensure accurate results. A can-do attitude and drive to deliver results on schedule are essential for success in this position. The CCA Services Analyst reports directly to the CCA Business Solutions
Perform application testing, including IVR, CRM and iframe systems; perform regression testing of system upgrades.
Support user access of various IT systems and perform user access audits.
Produce and validate accuracy of data reports and ensure delivery to clients as needed.
Execute mass updates of data in designated CRM tables.
Document business requirements for data reports and automated workflows.
Adopt tools including Jira, Power BI, SQL queries, etc.
Other related assignments as directed.

Requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering, business or accounting.
2 years of equivalent work experience in similar role preferred.
Strong knowledge of Excel and data analysis skills.
Adept at learning and applying new IT applications and data sets.
Excellent verbal and written skills to convey technical information.
Manage multiple assignments concurrently in a proactive manner.
Focus on performing work in an open and dynamic team environment.
Detail-oriented, service-oriented, organized and efficient.
Sitting and standing for long periods of time.
