Responsibilities:
Provide clinical guidance and support in developing interventions and supervision of team members. Provide direct supervision to staff both in the office and in the field.
Ensure that the individual is at the center of all care and that all interventions are developed and provided in a manner consistent with individual preferences.
Complete all required assessments, obtain authorizations, complete crisis plans and coordinate aspects of individual's admission according to agency procedures.
Manage the team and individuals in providing on-going assessment of symptoms and responses to staff interventions.
Ensure that each individual is actively involved in their treatment planning process, their preferences are embraced, and that documentation is clinically measurable & objective.
Manage Urgent Care services in providing on-going assessment of symptoms and responses to staff interventions throughout the urgent care process.
Direct and implement systems to ensure completion of all short-term treatment plans focused on stabilization.
Provide targeted treatment to individuals including but not limited to CBT modalities targeting symptoms, DBT, PE, CR, EMDR, FST, TF-CBT, CAMS, family therapies, integrated dual diagnosis treatment, self-management plans, and other clinical interventions.
Provide groups where appropriate and indicated for individuals in EBPs and in support groups
Rotate clinical back up on call supervisor to staff providing direct on call supports to individuals. Provide direct clinical support to individuals where needed to avoid use of emergency rooms and emergency services unnecessarily.
Assist with issues pertaining to individual care, medications, psychiatric/medical crises and acuity.
Ensure the safety of individuals; implementing crisis intervention as necessary.
Qualifications:
Requires a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling, with corresponding independent licensure and four years of clinical experience.
Two (2) years in a supervisory role in a clinical setting required.
Must have strong clinical skills with at least 3 years of experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illnesses and/or substance use.
Location: Lynn, MA
Schedule: Full time, 40 hours/ week
