  • Prepare and deliver educational opportunities and lectures for staff members.

  • Interpret data gathered during procedures and recognize potential implications in patient care or complications as it relates to cardiovascular diseases.

  • Operate physiologic recorder/database system with expertise recognizing arrhythmias and normal/abnormal waveforms.

  • Collaborate and communicate with other room staff and schedule coordinator to maximize the productivity of the entire department.

  • Train and educate new employees in the cardiac catheterization lab.

  • Operate the radiographic equipment utilizing radiation safety procedures.

  • Participate in department educational programs by collaborating with staff educators to facilitate orientation and acclimation of new staff members.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor including maintaining inventory stocking and ensuring quality assurance is being met with our equipment.

  • Provide assistance to the Provider performing the procedure.


  • Prior clinical experience in a healthcare setting. A

  • Adapt to high volume and high stress areas.

  • Lead and coach others.

  • Customer service skills.

  • Instruct and orient employees and students in the proper performance of diagnostic procedures and functions of the department.

  • Develop own ways of working effectively and efficiently.

  • Work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Critically evaluate and analyze information in written materials.

  • Solve problems by analyzing information and using logic to address issues and problems.

  • Develop effective relationships with patients, hospital departments, and other external parties.

  • Supervisory and team leadership skills, including coaching, engaging and developing employees. T

  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.


1-3 Years Experience

License(s): Indiana Credential; Radiology Technologist

Certification(s): ARRT-R; Basic Life Support Program

Responsibilities Include: * Travel to various healthcare facilities in the area, operating company owned vehicles * Perform diagnostic and radiographic exams using portable x-ray equipment * Review images to ensure quality * Perform electrocardiograms using portable ECG equipment * Gather and complete appropriate paperwork * Adheres to policies and procedures for daily operations. * Monitor equipment performance and takes the appropriate measures to have problems resolved * Review and ensure exams are high quality and available for interpretation in a timely fashion. * Consistently demonstrate effective communication, both written and verbal, with all technologists, staff and management teams * Performs all duties as assigned or required to ensure efficiency and provide quality patient care.
