TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Centennial, Colorado, 80112 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Cath Lab Specialist Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days- 0700-1630, 4 days during the week. Call requirements approximately 15 call shifts in a 6-week period. Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 Experience: 2 years of Cath Lab experience required License: State RN license or RN license from a participating state in the NLC Certifications:
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certified Critical-Care RN (CCRN) is preferred Must-Have:
Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor Degree in Nursing is preferred)
Strong nursing skills and knowledge base specific to the specialty
English proficiency (Read, Write, Speak) Job Description:
Assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and the patient/family.
Identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient through the nursing process and in accordance with standards and guidelines.

Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.

Demonstrate competency in therapeutic/diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.

Recognize the patient or designee as a full partner in coordinated care.
Deliver care with respect for cultural differences and diversity.
Delegate to non-RN personnel following regulations and policy.
Utilize time, personnel, equipment, and supplies effectively to provide high-quality care.
Serve as a professional role model, demonstrating ethical and professional nursing practice.
Manage resources and patient flow, matching nursing competencies with patient/unit needs.
Adhere to standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
Function effectively in nursing and inter-professional teams with open communication and mutual respect.
Precept and mentor new staff or nursing students as necessary.
Seek out learning opportunities and continuing education.
Maintain skills and competence in clinical practice or role performance.
