TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Centennial, Colorado, 80112 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Cath Lab Specialist Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days- 0700-1630, 4 days during the week. Call requirements approximately 15 call shifts in a 6-week period. Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 Experience: 2 years of Cath Lab experience required License: State RN license or RN license from a participating state in the NLC Certifications:

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certified Critical-Care RN (CCRN) is preferred Must-Have:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor Degree in Nursing is preferred)

• Strong nursing skills and knowledge base specific to the specialty

• English proficiency (Read, Write, Speak) Job Description:

• Assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and the patient/family.

• Identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.

• Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient through the nursing process and in accordance with standards and guidelines.

• Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.

• Evaluate patients' response and intervene to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Develop and implement patient care plans and observe outcomes.

• Demonstrate competency in therapeutic/diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.

• Advocate and collaborate to protect health, safety, and patient rights.

• Provide patient/family education based on readiness, needs, and ability.

• Recognize the patient or designee as a full partner in coordinated care.

• Deliver care with respect for cultural differences and diversity.

• Delegate to non-RN personnel following regulations and policy.

• Utilize time, personnel, equipment, and supplies effectively to provide high-quality care.

• Serve as a professional role model, demonstrating ethical and professional nursing practice.

• Manage resources and patient flow, matching nursing competencies with patient/unit needs.

• Adhere to standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

• Function effectively in nursing and inter-professional teams with open communication and mutual respect.

• Precept and mentor new staff or nursing students as necessary.

• Seek out learning opportunities and continuing education.

• Maintain skills and competence in clinical practice or role performance.
