Responsibilities & Requirements

The Cardiac Service Line Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of patient care and resource utilization pertaining to Cardiac Catheterization and Vascular Interventional procedures. This individual will work across multiple disciplines including Anesthesia, Radiology, Surgery, and Cardiology to ensure the provision of efficient and expeditious patient care. This individual must excel at time management and critical thinking with the understanding that proficient resource utilization and effective staffing models are key to cost-effective and quality patient care.

The Cardiac Service Line Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the day to day flow of their area of expertise. However this individual must also be mindful of long term strategies as they relate to team development. This individual will be expected to have regular meetings with unit leadership as well as the Cardiac Service Line educator to assess and implement strategies for team growth and advancement. This individual is responsible for his or her own professional advancement and is expected to stay informed on all aspects of their specialty.

The Cardiac Service Line Clinical Coordinator must always demonstrate and model behavior that aligns with Kettering Health Network's mission, vision, philosophy and culture. The KHN Standards of Behavior will act as a road map the Clinical Coordinator will hold him or herself accountable to as well as their team.

  • Maintain schedule of staff and physicians

  • Perform training on innovative technologies and equipment

  • Leadership and supervisory responsiblities

RN Requirements:

  • Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.

  • Bachelor of Science in nursing is preferred.

  • Three years previous RN cath lab/EP experience required.
