The EP Lab Clinical Coordinator is responsible for directing and overseeing the daily activities Cardiovascular Lab and is responsible and accountable for directing and facilitating the flow of patient care activities of the department. The person in this position works under general supervision and assists the manager in the achievement of the patient care unit(s) goals and objectives.
This position works in a supportive manner as a resource for the Cardiovascular Lab units and as a representative for the manager. This position is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.
Three (3) years clinical experience in the cardiovascular lab requiredBLS and ACLS through American Heart Association. NIH. Current RN or Radiology Tech licensure in the State of Florida.
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) or Certification with NASPE (National Society Pacing Electrophysiology) or CCRN or CEN or ARRT-CV or ARRT- VI is required. Demonstrated clinical competence in relevant area of cardiovascular invasive procedures. Demonstrated leadership ability and potential managerial competency. Evidence of this includes, but is not limited to, effective communication skills, ability to deal well with people, ability to problem solve, ability to confront/resolve issues, ability to motivate others, ability to plan, organize, and direct the activities of others
