VIEW JOBS 11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-12T00:00 Rich with magnetic charm, Bobby Hotel gives Nashville's legendary grit a good polish and extends a warm Southern welcome to every guest. We're hand-picking a remarkable team eager to be a part of the journey. At Bobby Hotel, every day is a chance to change the tune. We actively look for ways to take the usual and make it vibrant. We hope for the best, and then strive to make it better. ENGAGE: With your welcoming personality and fine-tuned people skills, you've never had the chance to meet a stranger. Everyone you meet becomes an instant friend. You're also a social butterfly and very in-tune with today's trends in everything from social events to weddings. Thanks to these traits and many others, catering sales is your cup of tea. Plus, you've been around the block when it comes to high-end catering sales and event planning, so this stuff is practically second nature. You feel at home in this industry because guest service comes so easily to you. You thrive off of discovering the wants and needs of clients and meeting every single one of their expectations and then some. Plus, you know Music City well, so drawing people to the area will be a breeze. DEMONSTRATE: Friendly, energetic, guest-focused, positive, confident. These are all words that describe you. Stay in the know. Not only do you understand Bobby and everything the hotel has to offer, but you know the surrounding hotels pretty well, too. Build and maintain your base. You'll develop and maintain lasting relationships with local event/wedding/meeting planners, prospect for new business opportunities and handle all inquiries coming to Bobby. Get down to the nitty gritty. You'll negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and hotel services. Have them sign on the dotted line and forward the documents to the client and affected hotel departments. Set goals and then crush them. You exceed the expectation every time so meeting your set goals is a walk in the park for you. Take care of your clients and show them the true meaning of Southern hospitality. You'll be available to ensure that their entire experience runs smoothly from start to finish. You'll get brownie points if you have experience with Delphi (or similar software) and detailing BEO's. BOBBY TAKES CARE OF THE CREW: You probably like what you do and are good at it, but a few perks and benefits are always nice. You know better than anyone a nickel saved, is a nickel earned - when invested in our 401k plan with company match. Keeping the crew healthy is foremost on Bobby's mind. We've got an array of medical, dental, and vision benefits available. Plus, company paid life and disability coverage. Room to Grow. Bobby Hotel is our third project. We've been averaging about one project a year. If you plan to grow, that's great, because we do too. Bobby believes in R&R, we just call it PTO, and you start earning it immediately. If you like travel as much as Bobby, you'll love our discount room benefit at Preferred Hotels around the world. Plus, Bobby keeps a whole list of other benefits and perks, like free lunches. We are an equal opportunity employer. Bobby believes in trust but verify. All successful candidates will be subject to a background check. Bobby Hotel Nashville TN
