Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a Catering Manager 3 to join our team at a potential new sale in Foster City, California. The ideal candidate is an organized and effective leader with a background in event planning and management. The catering manager must have excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering memorable client experiences. Prior hands-on on corporate service and high volume catering experience essential for this role!

The responsibilities of this role include:

• Oversee the planning and execution of all events, ensuring they meet client expectations

• Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements

• Work with the Sodexo culinary team to ensure delivery of the menu

• Prepare and manage budgets for each event

• Monitor expenses and find cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality of service

• Hire, train, and supervise event staff

• Track and analyze key performance metrics, including revenue, expenses, and customer feedback, to make data-driven decisions and improvements

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience

• 2 years

Basic Functional Experience

• 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
