Sodexo Leisure has an exciting Catering Manager 2 opportunity available at our Seattle Aquarium in Seattle, WA. The Seattle Aquarium is a high profile event space in the Seattle market for weddings and corporate events.
The Catering Manager 2 will support our Special Event Planner of all events at this premier location
High interaction with VIP clients day of event
A sharp eye for attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
Experience creating floor plans/diagrams, assisting with inquiries
An expert in client/guest relations- this position will have direct client contact
Experience in executing catering and special events including many high end, fine dining banquets & weddings
Excellent event planning skills, and is visionary in regards to presentations and creativity
Ability to perform in high stress and energy atmosphere
Demonstrated knowledge of catering logistics, casual and fine dining, and banquet management
Other duties include, but are not limited to: internal billing, creating floor plans, assisting with inquiries

Oversight of catering activities for a small to mid-size location/unit with $500k-$1M in managed catering volume. Medium complexity with a high degree of hands on involvement in catering events. Strong client interaction.Key Duties- Oversight of Sodexo resources, recipes, systems and use of catering programs to direct daily catering events including; food production, inventory, product deliveries, invoices, and procurement operations.
