Description/Job Summary

Job Overview:

The Coordinator will effectively serve as a point of contact for events such as caterings, reservations, bookings and other services. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

/General Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a point of contact for reservations, bookings, equipment, catering and other such services.

  • Communicates to internal and external clients.

  • Performs some administrative tasks such as arranging meetings, developing agendas and preparing progress reports.

  • Coordinates logistics, setup/knockdown and on-site problem resolution.

  • May assist in daily coordination of projects, including preparing and maintaining project plans, budgets and staffing requirements.

  • Tracks progress and identifies/resolves obstacles.

  • Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.

  • Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.

  • Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.

  • Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.

  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.

/Working Conditions (may add additional conditions specific to defined work location):/

  • Generally in an indoor setting; however, may supervise outside activities and events.

  • Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends and extended hours as business dictates.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, may be exposed to heat/cold during support of outside activities.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Description The MENTOR Network is currently seeking a Leave Coordinator to coordinate, administer, and track leaves of absence. The Leave Coordinator will process and track short-term and long-term disability benefits; manage cases to ensure compliance with federal and state laws. This role will work directly with employees and managers on any leave issues. Essential Job Functions * Process requests for leaves of absence, including designating type of leave. * Maintain contact with employees on leave to monitor progress and prompt return to work date. Work with managers and Human Resources to monitor leaves and provide regular status reports. * Communicate and work with a variety of internal and external sources such as attorneys, physicians, providers, vendors, and others to achieve timely return to work date and prompt resolution of the claim. * Prepare and mail leave notices (e.g., FMLA leave notices) as required to employees requesting leave. * Create and maintain an activity file containing required documentation for leave of absence. * Monitor and track leave of absences and follow up on required paperwork such as medical certifications, requests for extended leaves, and other required information. * Ensure timely processing of short-term and long-term disability claims. Review documentation and eligibility status to determine whether an employee is eligible for benefits. * Respond to telephone inquiries from employees and outside vendors answering questions and resolving routine issues. Work with managers and Human Resources as appropriate to resolve more complex issues. * Compose reports and correspondences to ensure communication between employees, managers, Human Resources, and outside vendors. * Perform other related duties and activities as required.
