This position works with student academic records, evaluating transfer credits and AP/DANTES/CLEP credits, verifying degree requirements, and updating graduation records in the student information system. Working with students, staff, and faculty, this position contributes to an effective and efficient office that emphasizes superior customer service. This is a 12-month, part-time (29.5 hours or less a week), non-exempt position located on the Mequon, Wisconsin campus and reports to the Concordia University Registrar. Responsibilities * Evaluates and posts transfer credits * Evaluates and posts Advanced Placement, DANTES or CLEP Credits * Updates student records and transfer equivalency databases * Maintains graduation data including requests, evaluations, and bulletin * Assists with processing transcripts * Answering phones and assisting walk-ins with transcript requests and enrollment verification * May perform other related duties as assigned Knowledge, skills, abilities * Excellent communication skills written and oral * Enjoys working with students * Familiarity with student information databases, particularly Ellucian Banner * Proficient with Microsoft Office including Access, Excel, Word and Outlook * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to work with numbers and forms, including data entry * Able to deal with interruptions and work in a fast-paced office environment * Able to work some evenings and weekends Education and Experience A bachelor's degree is required, with at least two years of experience in higher education preferred. Compensation and Benefits This is a part-time, hourly position. Starting range is dependent upon individual qualifications and experience.
