Job Description Job Description Benefits/Perks Flexible Scheduling Competitive Compensation Job Summary We are seeking a Catering Cook to join the team at our busy catering business. In this position, you will be responsible for using high-quality ingredients to prepare delicious meals for our customers.
The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and committed to creating an excellent experience for patrons. Duties and Responsibilities: Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment Serve meals by reviewing recipes; assembling, combining and cooking ingredients; and maintaining a sanitary kitchen Execute cold food production in accordance with standards of plating guide specifications Attends to the detail and presentation of each order Places and expedites orders Follow all food safety regulations Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures Performs other duties as assigned by the head chef or management Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to acquire within 60 days Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure Excellent time management skills Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
