We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Category Manager to join our passionate team.

Position Overview: The Category Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and developing products for specific categories within our portfolio. This position demands a thorough understanding of the cosmetics industry, market trends, consumer preferences and behavior, and a strategic mindset for driving category growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage each product from the Ideation to launch and retirement.

• Oversee individual projects to ensure vision/goals are maintained through development.

• Utilize market research, data analysis, and consumer insights to understand customer needs, preferences, and trends within each category.

• Work with cross-functional product teams to optimize speed-to-market and maximize successful new product launches.

• Monitor sales performance, analyze key metrics, and develop forecasts to drive category growth and meet revenue targets.

• Partner with our internal R&D and Regulatory team to ensure global compliance on all product launches.

• Maintain portfolio of new products within existing and new categories, existing products, line extensions and limited time offerings.

• Influence new product concept refinement and existing product decisions including product strategy, pricing, packs, and positioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field. MBA preferred. Or equivalent experience.

• 3 or more years of experience in category management, product management, or a related role.

• 1 year or more of product development process and packaging experience.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, trends, and consumer insights.

• Excellent project management abilities with a track record of successful product launches

• Strategic thinker with excellent communication and presentation abilities, international marketing experience is a plus.

Requires 5% travel to meet with suppliers.
