As a category manager for Corporate Procurement, you'll oversee the Professional Services category of spend and lead strategic sourcing activities for all stakeholders companywide. You'll create and manage service-level agreements, manage supplier performance, negotiate and maintain effective supplier relationship design, and implement business processes. You'll also manage contracts while considering legal considerations. Additionally, you'll develop and implement procurement strategies that drive cost savings, meet business needs, and optimize spending.
This is a hybrid role, which means you'll work in-office 1 day a week.
Must-have qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher.
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of five years' experience in contract administration and maintaining vendor relationships or related work experience.
Preferred skills
Procurement experience, specifically in sourcing Professional services (non-IT) and managing suppliers' performance.
Experience with vendor and contract management (ideally direct category management experience)
Working knowledge of the Coupa platform and Venminder
Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, negotiation, and leadership skills
Advanced computer skills including MS Office with demonstrated skills in Excel - including the ability to create, manipulate and formulate spreadsheets - including v-look-up, tables, charts and graphing and MS Word - ability to review and redline contracts in conjunction with legal, Security and the business.
Compensation
$70,100 - $113,200/ year depending on position level and experience
Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
