We are seeking a Program Manager to focus on the growth of Kitting and Service Bulletins part sales.

Responsibilities:

Drive Business Growth

  • Evaluate and select initiatives that drive BGS revenue and earnings growth, on both a short-term and multi-year basis

o Key growth levers include pricing, cost decreases and stocking plans as well as reductions in customer transaction frictions

  • Effectively balance growth calls with resource investment

Integrated Product Team (IPT) Management:

  • Work across the Supply Chain Horiztonal functional leaders to prioritize and implement activities that will improve category business outcomes

o Includes technical and business functions such as: Inventory Planning, Supply Chain Management, Strategy & Business Development, Data Analytics, Quality, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Sales & Support, and Continuous Improvement

  • Drive the day-to-day operating rhythm of the category IPT, including leadership of daily, weekly and monthly team and management reviews to support the needs of the business

  • Review core business KPIs and other managerial business tools to control and oversee the general status of the category against its commitments

  • Work with IPT to identify customer, competitor, supplier, and/or regulatory developments that can have an impact to the business

Project Management / Program Leadership:

  • Lead the execution of key multi-disciplinary project initiatives, each designed to positively impact product & category performance (cost, flexibility, delivery, quality)

  • Lead the internal alignment of project initiatives across the broader business. Establish and communicate project objectives and goals

  • Leverage experience and thought leadership in a variety of functional areas to support the successful execution of project initiatives (while expertise in each of the below areas is not required, strong capabilities in at least one area is preferred)

o Sales & marketing leadership: customer segmentation, channel management, sales force effectiveness, incentive alignment, KPI management, customer relationship management, sales operations management

o Operational leadership: supplier management, inventory management, product configuration management, contracts management, order fulfillment, AOG response, field service support

o Process / Continuous Improvement leadership: process flow analysis & improvement, quality management, lean / six-sigma

  • Provide strong people & team leadership skills to develop talent within the category team and IPT. This key responsibility will include but not be limited to recruiting, mentoring, skill development & evaluation, internal training, and talent management.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • BA with technical or business background (engineering, computer science, finance, marketing)

  • Strong multi-disciplinary business and technical skills are a necessary qualification to support the achievement of business outcomes

  • Background as business leader and/or P&L leader

  • Ability to lead analytical and technical team members to complete analysis and planning, and/or program execution requirements

  • Strong leadership skills, manifested through the successful leadership in cross-functional team environments

  • Ability to structure ambiguous business data into meaningful, insightful information

  • Excellent verbal communicator, can skillfully present to senior audiences including management and executive leadership team

  • Excellent written communicator, can synthesize and package complex business and operational concepts into clear, concise presentation

Preferred:

  • Master's degree

  • Working knowledge of the airline / aerospace industry

  • Experience in the aftermarket services industry
