Military Source Operations (MSO) Course Instructor

The HUMINT Training-Joint Center of Excellence (HT-JCOE) trains U.S. Military and U.S. Government personnel in basic and advanced HUMINT collection operations, based on DoD requirements.

Requirements:

The contractor shall assist and support the development and execution of the Source Operations Course(SOC). At a minimum, this will include developing, updating, and maintaining lesson plans, training materials, tests, student handouts, and critical task lists; providing TDC input; developing schedules and test training support packages; incorporating lessons learned into POIs; and recommending POI improvements based on approved Government doctrine and TTP. The contractor shall provide instruction based on the most current iteration of training, which is subject to change based upon input from real world events and our executor's approval.

Assist in the development, maintenance, and updating of courseware for their assigned instructional discipline, practical exercise, demonstration, or Field Training Exercise (FTX) as needed to ensure accuracy and relevancy of course material.

Assist in evaluation, counseling, and remedial training of SOC students. Analyze student performance in the course and recommend individualized training for improving student performance.

Assist in management and administrative support of practical exercises, demonstrations, and Field Training Exercises.

Assist in the development and execution of realistic training scenarios and exercises that support modules of the course. Design scenarios, roles, and exercises to adhere to government approved formats, to maximize student participation and to directly link to course material.

Adhere to realistic government approved roles, and remain in role throughout the designated exercise IAW with course SOP.

Evaluate student performance during platform, FTX and Final Evaluation training events in accordance with (IAW) government approved critical task list, POI and relevant Organizational SOPs (OSOP), policies and guidelines.

Deliver the government approved SOC POI (platform, operations training base/operations management team, practical exercise, field exercise, and evaluation phases) to the students as prescribed by the government and IAW HT-JCOE Instructor OSOP and course SOPs.

Assess performance of the students using government approved evaluation forms, matrixes, and rubrics and provide constructive feedback to improve performance.

General qualifications for all instructors:

  • Active or current DoD Secret Clearance

  • Valid civilian driver's license with ability to drive a government and/or Raytheon vehicle.

  • Physically capable of sustained walking without a break for a minimum of two miles over uneven ground.

Required Skills:

  • At least 4 years of related work experience

  • Graduate of at least one of the following: SOC (after January 2016), OTC, ASOTC, DATC, MAGTF-CI/HUMINT.

  • 1 year cumulative MSO CAT II operational experience.

Desired Experience:

Recent US military deployment experience in source operations

Required Education :

Bachelor's Degree or may consider 8 years of additional experience and relevant certifications in lieu of education
