CASUAL POOL - FLEXIBLE PART TIME IN THE NORTH HILLS

RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or Equivalency and 6 months paid direct care experience

• Valid Driver license - and the ability to drive an organizational vehicle

• Act 33/34/73 clearances

• Pre-employment background and drug screening

SCHEDULE:

• Must work a minimum of 4 shifts each month. You can choose which shifts you want to work.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Our Residential Care Advisors provide assistance and training to adults with Intellectual Disabilities/Serious Mental Illness in our residential treatment locations.

• We're looking for people who have experience developing and mentoring a team, and who believe in a strengths-based approach, and use positive practices to help guide their everyday activities.

• This position requires staff to create a customized treatment plan with the clients and provide supports in the community.

• While required daily tasks to ensure the health and well-being of the clients is the utmost importance, this position offers many opportunities to engage with the clients in the community.

• Along with daily interactions and conversations, staff are highly encouraged to help support the residents' well-being through socialization, developing and encouraging participation of activities, shopping trips, and other activities that support their social and personal well-being.
