THE JOB:

It is the responsibility of the Casino Porter to provide excellent guest service and create a safe and friendly environment for employees and guests while establishing and maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas in the Casino and public areas.

THE STARTING RATE: $19.77

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Sweep and remove all wrappers, broken glass, ashtrays, and debris from floor

• Clean and dust slot machines, including areas between machines, doors, and woodwork

• Monitor and clean areas such as, but not limited to, casino floor, restrooms, and theaters.

• Remove scuffmarks and drink spills

• Clean up biohazard areas

• Clean slot chairs, polish bases, and then return chairs to proper position

• Vacuum entire assigned stations, moving chairs and other objects to ensure thorough cleaning

• Remove trash, replace missing ashtrays, and wipe out and clean all ashtrays and trash cans

• Ensure all equipment is returned to department and all malfunctioning equipment is reported

• Replenish supplies when necessary

• Respond to and resolves guest challenges in a timely manner and creatively solves problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties

MINIMAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Is able to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

PREFERRED:

• Preferably, has six (6) months of general cleaning experience

• Preferably, has experience with professional cleaning equipment

• Preferably, has experience in a similar five-star/five-diamond resort environment
