SUMMARY

Manages the operations and personnel of Table Games in compliance with Indiana Gaming Commission rules and Company policy. Promotes and maintains the utmost integrity and high quality customer service to all patrons and employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages the Table Games operations and personnel on assigned shift.

  • Coaches direct reports in pertinent skills of operations, marketing, administration and promotes effective utilization of equipment, manpower and floor space.

  • Effectively executes strategies in support of business objectives.

  • Sets high personal standards for performance and encourages others to do the same.

  • Continually follows up and evaluates the status of daily work and strategic projects.

  • Authorizes guest complimentaries to recognize loyal players in accordance with company guidelines.

  • Ensures all guests problems are handled quickly to ensure guest satisfaction within the established guidelines.

  • Identifies and anticipates problems through logical and analytical thought processes.

  • Ensures the proper issuance of casino credit, front money and chip advances.

  • Develops new gaming guests through personal contact with Player Development, Marketing and the Caesars Rewards Center.

  • Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations pertaining to gaming, including accurate reporting to specific agencies.

  • Monitors wage and salary costs to maintain proper margins in relation to business volume.

  • Plans and approves employee scheduling to assure proper staffing to meet business demands.

  • Establishes and maintains departmental procedures that will assure proper protection of all gaming operations from loss due to mistake or theft.

  • Proactively recognizes, rewards and celebrates outstanding examples of employee performance. Is present and actively participates in buzz sessions.

  • Counsels, guides and instructs assigned personnel in the performance of their duties.

  • Serves as a role model to all employees at all time.

  • Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions, when handling guest and employee conflicts.

  • Any and all other job duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.

  • Evaluates performance for compliance with established policies and objectives and contributions in attaining those objectives.

  • Coordinates activities of divisions or departments to effect operational efficiency and economy.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (minimum 4-6 hours). Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator. Responds to visual and aural cues. Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment. Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights. Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent, College degree preferred plus 5 to 7 years of table games management experience. Qualified candidates must have excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision making skills (or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience). Excellent communication skills (oral and written), coaching and leadership skills required. Must have a professional appearance and be a team player.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS

Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission. Must be able to qualify for and may be required to obtain and maintain an Indiana Horse Racing Commission License.

QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have significant Table Games experience as a dealer and/or supervisor capacity. The ability to lead and coach is required. Well-developed interpersonal skills are a must. Enjoys entertaining and communicating with the public. Must have a professional appearance and be team player. Successful completion of the Caesars Entertainment Supervisory Leadership Assessment Profile is required.
