The primary goal of this position is to aid and support the Cashier's Office. The Cashier's Office Assistant will provide customer service to students over the phone, in person, and through email. This student would be expected to learn general and in-depth student account information. The ideal candidate would have strong organizational skills to help with journal entry creation and would be able to work autonomously to help cover the front counter and phones as needed.
JOB DUTIES
Customer Service in person, on the phone, and virtually.
Returning voicemails and emails.
Creation of journal entry documentation.
Helping cashier's office staff with projects as needed.
Helping Fiscal Affairs department staff with projects as needed.
Must keep all areas of the cashier's office clean and presentable in doing various tasks.
Other things may be required to complete, related to the job environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Professional and friendly attitude.
Excellent communication skills - Bilingual or multilingual is a plus.
Familiarity with computers, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office suite.
The ability to learn and work independently and as a member of the team.

The ability and willingness to take direction and to learn from constructive criticism and/or feedback.
Available during cashier's office operating hours
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Must have completed FAFSA on file
Must be enrolled in a minimum six (6) credit hours
Must NOT have yet obtained 1st Bachelor's Degree
Must be seeking an eligible program of study
