  • We have an opening for a part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.

  • Location: 7000 Central Avenue SW Albuquerque, NM 87121 Note: online applications accepted only.

  • Schedule: P/T: Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., in a great work environment.

  • Requirement: Prior customer service and kitchen experience preferred but willing to train candidate with great organizational skills and multi-tasking ability.

Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and keeps the coffee and cashier stations clean.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts. Also helps prepare catering orders.

  • Performs cashier duties using the POS system.

  • Perform general cleaning duties; removes trash and garbage to designated areas.

  • Provides service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.

  • Cashiers according to established procedures, maintaining cash accuracy with receipts. Makes deposits at the end of each shift.

  • Inventories and restocks supplies and food products.

  • Sets up serving line, ensuring temperatures are taken, recorded and within acceptable ranges; notifies cooks if food temperatures are not within acceptable limits.

  • Serves hot and cold items to customers.

  • Sets up items for purchase on daily basis.

  • Keeps refrigerator stocked and product rotated using the first in, first out rule.

  • Stocks pantries with correct par levels of food items on a daily basis. Records replenished amounts on floor stock form for each unit. Records refrigerator temperatures on floor stock form daily.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The Physician Advisor is a physician serving the hospital through teaching, consulting and advising the Medical Staff, the Utilization Review team, the Case management team and hospital leadership. The Physician Advisor shall develop expertise on matters regarding physician practice patterns, over and under-utilization of resources, medical necessity, levels of care progression, denial management, compliance with governmental and private payer regulations, appropriate physician coding and documentation requirements. PRIMARY SCOPE OF SERVICE: The Physician Advisor works closely with Medical Staff leadership, the entire medical staff, case management, social services, discharge planning and utilization management to develop and implement methods to optimize use of hospital services for all patients while also ensuring the quality of care provided. This includes working with providers, hospital leadership, case management to optimize length of hospital stay, ensuring efficient management of resources and ensuring patients are in the appropriate level of care. This involves reviewing documentation to support current level of care, monitoring appropriate use of diagnostic and therapeutic modalities and ensuring compliance with government and payer rules for continued hospital care.
