Essential Job Function:

The function of a cashier is to perform the following duties in a friendly and professional manner ensuring a high level of customer service and store appearance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service

  • Running a cash register, this includes accountability for cash, lottery tickets, cash cards, etc.

  • Completing shift report

  • Cleaning (windows, floors, bathrooms, emptying trash containers, etc.)

  • Stocking shelves and coolers

  • Sweeping and mopping floors

  • Gasoline tank inventory (stick readings)

  • Checking product in as it is delivered from vendors

  • Yard maintenance (sweeping, shoveling, painting, checking gas wells, etc.)

  • Light equipment maintenance (pumps, lighting, machinery, etc.)

  • Merchandising

  • Other tasks assigned by management

  • Ability to communicate with associates and guests

  • Ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork

Position Requirements:

  • Wear required store uniform

  • Available weekend, evening shifts and holidays

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Must attend mandatory meetings (i.e. T.A.M., sexual harassment)

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lbs

  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion

  • Reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist

  • Be able to freely access all areas of the store

  • Move quickly around store

VIEW JOBS 4/13/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-12T00:00 Job Description: The American Red Cross is the premier provider of Nurse Assistant Training (NAT) and has prepared individuals for work in the nursing field for over 100 years. The program is designed with input from educators, caregivers, and long-term industry representatives from across the United States. We are currently seeking a part-time Nurse Evaluator in Easton and the surrounding area to include Brockton, Attleboro, Braintree and Plymouth. This is a part-time position which requires weekday availability as well as up to three Saturdays per month. Responsibilities * Accurately evaluates nurse assistant candidate's performance using the format prescribed by the state. Administers the State Nurse Assistant Training Competency Exam. * Maintains confidentiality, test security, and quality assurance according to the state testing program's requirements. * Completes and maintains confidential, accurate and complete records and reports as required by state and federal regulations, vendor contracts and the American Red Cross policies. * Successfully manages operation of test site and maintains a cooperative working relationship with testing sites and staff to provide a comprehensive and safe testing environment for applicants. * Responsible for efficient and effective use of all testing supplies, materials and equipment maintaining appropriate controls for loss reduction. Submits supply requisition forms as needed to maintain testing supply inventory. Qualifications Education: Registered Nurse in the state(s) where evaluating occurs. BSN preferred. Experience: Two years' experience as a registered nurse with a minimum of one years' experience working in a long term care facility. Requires availability to work Saturdays Skills and Abilities: * Must maintain a current active RN license without restriction or probation in the state(s) where evaluating occurs. * Ability to represent the American Red Cross in a professional manner. * Knowledge of federal and state requirements governing Certified Nurse Assistant training and testing. * Professional written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. * Knowledge of the state or vendor requirements related to documentation and report preparation. * Proficiency in a variety of computer software, including Microsoft Office. * Superior organizational, planning and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently. * Ability to travel to multiple testing site locations within a geographical area and work various hours (days, evenings and weekends). * · Essential Functions/Physical Requirements:Depending on work assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of up to 50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information.
