We are looking for accountable cashiers to process all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. Successful candidates will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives.

Cashiers will be assigned to workstation duties such as taking orders and providing outstanding customer service through positive and professional interaction in person or on the phone. We will rely on you to accurately process transactions using our POS system, enhance our image by upholding appearance and cleanliness standards, and contribute to a collaborative and high-energy work environment.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in retail cashier or sales
  • Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters etc.)
  • Strong communication and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Customer satisfaction-oriented
  • Bilingual preferred

Additional responsibilities will be determined by the General Manager, as dictated by store needs. Essential Job Functions * Standing entire shift * Frequently operate cash register * Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and places/removes merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet * Frequently ascend/descend ladders in order to retrieve and put away stock * Frequently position self to kneel, bend, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor * Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers and coworkers on the telephone and face-to-face in the store. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations * Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers, as well as to and from the stock room retrieving and putting away merchandise Minimum qualifications: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to multi-task * Creative thinking * Ability to maintain composure under pressure Five Below, Inc.
