Entering and leaving Golden Corral are two of the most critical moments in the guest's experience because lasting impressions are formed during these moments. The Cashier / Host's interactions with our guests and these impressions ultimately dictate whether the guest will return.

Guest Service:

Greets guests as they enter the restaurant and offers a sincere, personal invitation to return as the guests leave.

Offers assistance to any guests who may need help.

Processes GC On the Go To-Go orders.

Friendly and courteous on the phone.

Handles payments accurately.

Knows and follows position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery.

Knows what is on buffet for the day and has a full knowledge of menu and prices.


Maintains organization and cleanliness at the vestibule, host/cashier station and surrounding areas.

May help ensure the buffet is set up properly and labels are correct. Cleans all buffets and surrounding areas.

Follows local health department laws.

Performs duty roster and ensures cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met.

Operational Excellence:

Informs the Manager when the money in the drawer needs to be taken to the safe to reduce the risk of robbery.

Ensures drawer balances with daily paperwork.

VIEW JOBS 10/6/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-01-04T00:00 Supply Chain Planner Reports to: Channel Group Sr. Planner Location: Sumter, SC Position Summary: This position is responsible for managing all supply chain activities for their assigned channel. These activities include, but are not limited to, forecasting, volume planning, inventory and service planning, manufacturing planning, and customer deliveries. This position works directly with their cross-functional channel team, purchasing, suppliers, and customer solutions to ensure the efficient execution of all supply chain functions within the assigned channel. Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to): * Establish excellent communication and relationships with the different working partners within and outside of Kaydon/SKF (Purchasing, Suppliers, Customers, and Sales). * Work closely with Purchasing and Suppliers to address supplier performance issues. * Actively participate in the development and implementation of new suppliers within the assigned channel. * Responsible for the management of inventory levels associated with their assigned channel to include final variants and channel stock. * Serve as the primary point of contact with Sales in order to communicate customer commitments based on effective analysis of material and capacity availability. Ensure orders are acknowledged and booked in a timely manner to maximize customer satisfaction. Resolve booking issues and collaborate on shifting customer requirements. * Perform volume and inventory planning based on forecast, orderbook, material, and capacity. Review, expedite, cancel, and defer Manufacturing Orders as necessary based on MRP recommendations. * Maintain the customer orderbook with respect to customer requirements, backlog, production status, production capacity, and supplier deliveries in order to maintain acceptable customer service levels. Responsible for the Broken Promise and Availability Failures (as applicable) metrics within their channel. * Work closely with the cross-functional channel team to identify, address, and communicate deviations to the production schedule and any changes that may impact customer deliveries. * Maintain close communication with the warehouse to address issues such as rush orders, stock discrepancies, obsolete stock, and quality hold items. * Manage planning parameters in DOH, XA, and other Common Systems applications. * Serve as a champion for organizational initiatives within their channel. Run/participate in improvement and development projects. * Monitor and publish channel Key Performance Indicators related to inventory, service, and availability. * Continuously contribute to the improvement of existing processes and the development of new processes as necessary. Minimum Education/Experience Required: * Has or is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Logistics or related field, or a minimum of four years of related experience. * Must possess APICS Certification or be willing to pursue. * Ability to successfully interact with all levels of the organization * Must be computer literate and proficient in materials planning and scheduling systems. * Must possess strong critical thinking and mechanical comprehension skills.
