Cashier

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the department managers the Cashier preforms a variety of duties.

Essential Functions:

• The Cashier operates a cash register, receives payments of cash, checks and charges from customers or employees for goods or services

• Make change and issuing receipts or tickets to customers.

• The Cashier performs a variety of routine tasks in the kitchen, tray line, and related areas according to standard practices and procedures in order to maintain a safe, efficient, and sanitary work environment.

• The Cashier is responsible for filling all food/beverage requisitions received from patient service areas in an accurate and timely manner in order to assist in maintaining quality patient care.

Schedule: Two shifts during the week 6:00 am- 2:30 pm and 11:00 am- 7:30 pm, every other weekend, every other holiday.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED required
