VIEW JOBS 4/12/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-11T00:00 We are looking for an experienced individual to fill the role of a Customer Service Representative for our Service Solutions Organization supporting the domestic Calibration labs. The ideal candidate is someone who works well in a team environment and who supports growth and process improvement. In this position, you will provide customer support to the calibration lab by performing a variety of routine and specialized functions involving daily customer contact, extensive data entry, computerized report generation, invoicing, and database management. This position requires strong computer and excellent customer service skills. The work environment is fast paced and challenging. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be part of a global company, which leads in its markets, is recognized around the world for quality and engineering excellence, and which strives for total customer satisfaction. * Issue and track customer units for services performed by outside vendors, and arrange for billing. * Arrange for movement of customer's equipment to outside vendor for calibration or repair and for return to customer. * Review customer purchase order for services required. * Enter data to complete services, labor and parts elements of invoicing spreadsheets. * Identify additional work performed beyond the scope of original quote. * Research equipment specifications or other details related to billing as required to provide complete information for invoices and ensure that until being calibrated matches file data. * Respond to customer inquiries regarding job status, review with management or technician and relay to customer as required. * Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements. * Generate reports as required Quotes and schedules onsite events. * Perform other related duties as assigned. Required: * 1 year of customer care representative experience * Experience in customer service directly relating to calibration services * US Citizen or Green Card holder Preferred: * Basic understanding of electronics and oscilloscopes * Experience in a high volume inbound call center * Familiarity with Tektronix equipment * Excellent telephone skills for handling moderate to complex outbound calls * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced environment * Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail * Flexibility within team environments or independent settings * Proficient at Windows XP, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications with an emphasis on Excel & Access * Experience with OpenUpTime, Labmate, Gage, and Oracle is a plus * Knowledge of metrology & calibration services Due to US Department of Commerce export control regulations governing technical data of Tektronix products, Tektronix needs to know the citizenship of all its employees. Note that US Citizenship is not required for most positions. Hired candidates will be asked to bring proof of citizenship (passport, birth certificate, green card, visa or similar) on their first day of work.
