Job Summary:
Assists and checks-out customers. Sorts, prices, and prepares donated items for placement in the store
Essential Functions:
- Assists customers.
- Greets and assists donors with unloading donations and donation receipts on a limited basis.
- Accomplishes assigned cleaning routine.
- Provides courteous, accurate, and timely customer service as trained and stated in the store manual.
- Uses cash register to check-out customers.
- Keeps shelves stocked with merchandise, keeps displays neat and orderly, restocks clothing racks, and hangs clothes as necessary.
- Inspects donated items for overall quality and determines disposition of items based on store manager's direction.
- Places items in appropriate locations for pricing and/or distribution.
- Separates seasonal items and places them in appropriate locations.
- Prepares clothing racks and household items for the store according to the store quality and pricing standards.
- Uses pricing machine, adhesive price tags and tagging gun to price items in accordance with store standards and Store Manager direction.
- Meets or exceeds goals and standards of production and quality.

- Carries out additional duties assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in sales preferred.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year experience in sales; retail supervisor experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Able to stand for two hours at a time over a period spanning up to eight hours. Able to bend, stretch, and reach. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Be able to lift 40 pounds and move large boxes, furniture, and other heavy items. Must be able to work flexible hours between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.: Monday through Saturday, and between 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
