The City of Pacifica is seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals committed to providing excellent customer service and who enjoys interacting with people of all ages to join our team in the Aquatics Division.

Cashier's greet customers and handle duties as related to the front office.

The ideal candidate will be at least 17 years of age (applicants 15-17 years of age with ability to obtain a valid work permit) and have a current CPR and First Aid certificate; should be flexible, self-motivated, attentive, and enjoy working with public. All shifts are available, including: early morning, daytime, evening and weekends.

Candidate needs to be available to work at least 3 varied shifts during the week and weekend.

Some of the typical duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Cashier for programs

  • Greet patrons as they enter facility

  • Count and balance payment sheets at the end of each shift

  • Other facility related duties

Salary Range and Hours: $11.50 to $14.50 per hour.

Graduation from high school or GED equivalent is desirable, college is highly desirable. This provision may be waived for applicants 15-17 years of age with ability to obtain a valid work permit. Previous experience as a cashier is desired but not required.
