Job Description

Since 2014, Crabapple Ace Hardware has been the neighborhood home for helpful advice and all the quality products our customers are looking for to maintain their home. We are one of the largest Stihl power equipment dealers in Atlanta and are proud to have a certified Technician on staff.

For all of the foodies out there, we carry the full line of Big Green Egg products, as well as Weber, Traeger, and Blackstone. Our customers shop here because they see the difference our associates offer. Currently we are accepting applications for a part-time Cashier to help our customers on evenings and weekends.

The Cashier's primary role is to assist customers with their purchase or return. Additionally, this role is the front line in welcoming customers to the store. This role also has primary responsibility for answering the phone.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Customer Service: • Provide a positive representation of Crabapple Ace Hardware. • Proactively assist customers in solving problems. • Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store. • Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates. • Ensure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively. • Forward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management. • Possess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products. • Assist customers throughout the store with personal, customized service based on the premise of amazing every customer, every time.

Store Operations • Assist in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment. • Operate the Point of Sale system to process customer purchases and returns. • At times, assist with receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise throughout the store. • Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area. • Communicate any issue to Store Manager for follow up. • Communicate any merchandising, cost control or sales idea to Store Manager. • Participate in store meetings. • Be professional in appearance and actions. • Perform all other duties as assigned. Other Essential Requirements: • Experience

• Previous retail experience preferred. • Physical Demands
