Job Description: As a Cashier at Ace Hardware, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will be the final point of contact for customers during their visit to our store, responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.

Your friendly demeanor and attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming and helpful atmosphere for all customers. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude as they approach the checkout counter.

Scan and bag merchandise accurately and efficiently. Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions using a POS system. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including keeping counters and conveyor belts free of clutter.

Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products, promotions, and store policies. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer service. Assist with restocking merchandise and performing inventory tasks as needed.

Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies. Uphold security procedures to prevent theft and loss of merchandise. Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about product knowledge and sales techniques.

Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. Knowledge of hardware products and home improvement is a plus.
