The Senior Cash Settlement Specialist is part of a team responsible for processing all aspects related to incoming and outgoing cash funds such as wire transfers, ACHs, and checks. Works on functions such as processing incoming funds, processing outgoing wire / ACH/ and check files, handling exception items as required, as well as helping to actively identify, recommend, and implement ways to improve processes to ensure Gold Standard service Works on various projects at the request of the Cash Settlement Supervisor.


  • Validate all incoming checks, wires, and ACHs using internal applications to ensure receipt

  • Maintain integrity and accuracy in financial transactions and reports

  • Ensure that all processing consistently meets established service levels, policies, and procedures and complete with a high degree of accuracy

  • Records important notes and supporting documentation in the client's account file

  • Process incoming and outgoing wire / ACH / Check files

  • Process federal and state tax withholding

  • Manage client and asset sponsor inquiries with professionalism

  • Use available resources to effectively solve problems and escalate as appropriate

  • Appropriately prioritizes tasks and work responsibilities to achieve objectives

  • Communicates with banking relationship to address any issues and inquiries

  • Commitment to enhancing the client experience and provide operational and administrative support to all teams

  • Manage department email boxes, including e-fax

  • Assist in reviewing and creating department policies and procedures

  • Assist in training and development of peers as requested

  • Successfully leads company initiatives, ad hoc projects, cleanup efforts and participates in audits as necessary


  • 3+ years of Banking experience required

  • Preferred working knowledge of trust accounting systems, IRAs, and alternative assets

  • IRA/IRS rules and regulations knowledge and experience is preferred

  • 3+ years of Electronic Fund Transfer experience, knowledge ACH/Wire transfer procedures

VIEW JOBS 4/29/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-07-28T00:00 The Investment Review Senior Analyst is responsible for reviewing, interpreting, executing and cash settlement of high risk/high profile client investment transactions related to private equity, real estate and private debt. The primary responsibilities are to service the clients and provide risk analysis to determine if the assets are acceptable to custody, as it pertains to IRS guidelines, regulators, and internal policies and procedures. Mitigate company risk/financial exposure and analyze investment compliance while working with industry partners and savoy clientele to ensure a compliant, smooth, and expedient investment settlement of high-profile accounts. RESPONSIBILITIES * Analyze and interpret complex alternative asset investments and legal documents, i.e. subscription agreements, company operating documents, offering materials, conveyance deeds, title reports etc., for IRS compliance and compliance with internal/external regulators. * Consult with attorneys to structure LLCs, LPs, Secured Notes, Private Funds, Real Estate and other various alternative asset structures. * Establish and maintain relationship with clients, advisors and sponsors as single point of contact for accepting the investment. * Accelerate referral business through relationships and added intellectual value for client-base. * Resolve escalated situations or difficult calls with limited or no assistance and assist Alternative Investment Specialists/Analysts with complicated investments and/or escalations. * Settle high volume of investments related to client's asset types and accounts meeting stated Service Level Agreement guidelines. * Educate and consult with attorneys, CPAs, clients and their financial advisors on matters of (same as level 2) compliance and ERISA law pertaining to alternative asset investing to bring investment to resolute completion. * Commit to a team collaboration environment. Enhance the client experience and collaborate with multiple departments to understand their functions and processes. * Independently analyze investment structure with little to no oversight and guidance required to make necessary decisions on investments ranging up to $5 million. * Attend educational courses as assigned by your supervisor; independently self-educate as complicated investment transactions arise. * Achieve a level of productivity that is evenly balanced between quantity and quality of performance. * Must meet established daily metrics as established by department and meet or exceed Service Level Agreement guidelines. * Make appropriate business decision to mitigate financial and regulatory exposure, preventing potential law suits, and/or regulatory violations. * Provide input and recommendation to management for increased productivity or alleviating service gaps/procedural changes. * Attend sales calls and prospective new business consultations. * Lead conference calls with clients sponsors/attorneys/professionals on legal disagreement with IRS regulations and/or internal/external regulator requirements and present business alternatives. * Exhibit regular attendance and timeliness. QUALIFICATIONS * At least 2 years of progressive work experience in a cross-functional environment within mid to large sized financial institutions preferred. * At least 2 years of Alternative Asset investment (Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt) knowledge required. * Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP) and/or Retirement Industry Trust Association (RITA) certified Self Directed IRA industry Professional (SDIP) strongly preferred. * Wall Street, fund sponsor, broker/dealer, investment and compliance/paralegal experience preferred.
