We are seeking Cash Research Associates to join our Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to move from a retail to office environment for those who are willing to learn claims, billing and insurance processing.
Pharmacy Technician experience and/or knowledge of pharmaceuticals is a strong preference.
This is a remote position. Applicants can live anywhere within the continental USA.

Responsibilities
Research and evaluate unapplied cash balances for state compliance. Works with third-party insurers, Medicaid, Medicare and assigned pharmacy locations to resolve unapplied cash issues in a timely manner
Facilitate the escheatment process for the state
Works with responsible parties, receiving in/out bound telephone calls, providing customer service and following-up
Works with internal and external customers to resolve assigned portfolio of accounts. Productivity records will also be maintained
Works with Facility Collection Manager /Supervisor in researching pharmacy accounts requiring special attention, as indicated on reports and taking all necessary actions
Works with Facility Collection Manager /Supervisor and other members of the management team on special projects as needed.
Performs other tasks as assigned
Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards

Qualifications
High School graduate, GED or equivalent experience is required
1 year billing and/or collections experience is required
Third Party Billing or collections/billing experience in the healthcare industry; AS400 computer experience is preferred
10-Key by touch, data entry, MS Excel and Word and basic computer knowledge is required
Medical billing and coding is preferred
