Summary/Objective:

Perform all duties related to the timely and accurate posting of cash, validation of deposits and posting detail, and resolution to outstanding bank reconciling items.

Essential Job Functions:

• Pull EOBs from websites, billing systems, internal drives, etc. as needed to identify cash to be posted to appropriate payer.

• Knowledgeable on reading and understanding EOBs including identifying and adjusting copay amounts to proper payers.

• Create cash batch in Point Click Care (PCC)

• Posts payments (from all sources except Private Pay) to A/R system

• Cross-validates payments posted by counterpart (cash batch posting detail to record of receipt)

• Verifies all cash batches are posted to AR and balanced daily

• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma (or GED)

• Strong background in long term care payer types preferred

• Basic knowledge of cash applications and procedures preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Basic understanding of Excel and Word

• Exposure to PCC system preferred
