POSITION OVERVIEW

The Cash Management Sales Support Manager is responsible for managing the Cash Management Sales/Sales Support team. This team is responsible for identifying, analyzing, selling and supporting cash management products and services to established business customers and targeted prospective corporate clients. Works closely with Relationship Officers, Branches and Business Bankers in attaining Revenue and deposit goals; solidify customer retention efforts by providing a superior level of customer service. Responds to a Request for Proposal (RFP); assesses customer needs and recommends effective strategies; performs cost benefit and risk analysis; negotiates pricing to optimize profitability of product or service solutions. Contributes to the Bank's deposit growth strategies and goals; generates additional revenue from the sale of cash management products and services; attains established individual, department and Bank goals through active participation in sales management and officer calling programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management responsibilities for Cash Management Sales/ Sales Support team. Manage and direct the team's growth and profitability while focusing on relationship management, client retention and business development activities. Execute a business plan consistent with the financial and market development goals of the bank.

  • Accompanies Business Bankers, Relationship Officers and Branch Personnel on Cash Management Sales Calls and provides technical assistance in the Sales Call process. Provide consultative advice on products and services to meet client needs and enhance their banking relationship.

  • Completes Pricing Analysis and Account Analysis product/service determination and presents to Business customers. Responsible for growing and maintaining high quality deposits for the Commercial Teams.

  • Conducts workflow analysis at Investors business customer sites to determine cross sell products. Manage and oversee workflow and productivity of the Cash Management Sales Team. Embrace and model core competencies in everyday interaction.

  • Assists in determining product profitability with Relationship Manager and Business Banker. Makes Sales presentations to Business customers. Complete assigned management reports as needed. Negotiate pricing with Business customers as it relates to cash Management services.

  • Assist and lead various Cash Management projects and product initiatives.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cash management sales officers, Cash Management Administrator

  • Coaches members of cross functional teams

  • Direct pre and post sales engineering and support

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience working directly with Cash Management Sales, Cash Management Operations, relationship management or portfolio management

  • Bachelors in Business or other relevant major or 15 years applicable experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Cash Management products- Account Analysis, Lockbox, ACH, Wire, On Line Banking, Merchant Services, ARP and Positive Pay

  • Strong leadership, organizational and product management skills

  • Proficient knowledge of MS office, including Word, Excel

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and work collaboratively with interdepartmental teams to achieve desired results

  • Strong leadership including the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Desired: Master's Degree in Business or other relevant major; Certified Treasury Professional accreditation
