The Cash Management Officer is responsible forcontributing to the bank's deposit growth through active participation inbusiness development activities and generation of fee income through analysisand negotiation of terms and conditions of cash management products andservices. This individual will acquire,expand, and retain customer relationships and is expected to provide a superiorlevel of customer service.

Essential Duties

  • Actively seeks to market and sell cash management products and services to corporate banking clients and prospects; performs analysis and prepares proposals for cash management services to existing and prospective customers.

  • Achieves fee income targets and deposit dollar targets in accordance with established goals.

  • Manages a portfolio of cash management accounts and develops relationships to achieve new business goals.

  • Assists in cash management product installation, implementation, and maintenance within the Bank and its branches.

  • Understands and can convey all details regarding account analysis, positive pay, ACH debit block and all other account/relationship services to client base from account setup to full production.

  • Assures that all applicable disclosures are discussed with clients to assure sufficient understanding.

  • Assures that client application and specification documents are current and representative of client ownership, roles and acceptable user access.

  • Maintains an awareness of trends and new developments in the field of cash management services; assists in ensuring that other bank personnel are aware of cash management activities and products; assists them with unusually complex services and in promoting cash management services.

  • Researches and reports on competitors' products, pricing, and marketing and recommends strategies to gain market share; assists in coordination of pricing of products to ensure profitability and competitiveness; interfaces with Pricing Committee on product pricing to include interest rates and fees.

  • Supports the business development efforts of Branch Managers and Commercial Loan Officers. Assists customers in obtaining specialized services from other Bank departments. Participates in community and networking events.

Education& Qualifications

  • A B.S. or B.A. degree in Business Administration or related field normally required.

  • A minimum of two (2) to four (4) years' related experience normally required.


Proficient reading, writing,grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations,communicative, and sales skills; a thorough knowledge of all bank products andservices, as well as bank operating policies and procedures; proficient PCskills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to sit, stand,walk, bend, stoop, reach with hands or arms, use hands to manipulate objects,handle or feel, and lift items weighing 20 lbs. or less ; visual, auditory and speaking skills; validdriver's license is required.
