JOB SUMMARY:
Generates revenue and enhances business client relationships through the sale and effective client support of cash management services.
LEVEL DIFFERENTIATION:
Works under the supervision of the Corporate Services Manager to analyze statements, prepare proposals, and present to the customer/prospect and implement services.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in a business field plus three years' related experience (e.g. sales, accounting, management); or seven years' related experience
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) is preferred
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven strength in analysis, sales, problem solving, organization, time management, interpersonal skills and customer service
Maintain a valid driver's license and the ability to travel with reliable transportation.
Knowledge of corporate cash management services preferred
Proficient in word processing, presentations, and spreadsheets
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Possess a clear understanding of the characteristics of a high quality cash management prospect in order to develop, acquire, and service these relationships, including accountability for proper documentation, pricing, risk assessment and customer service.
2.Develops a thorough knowledge of all cash management products, services and systems through completion of extensive training. Maintains a high level of awareness and understanding of new technologies, trends and competitive product offerings and pricing solutions.
3.Prepares cash management needs assessments utilizing potential client's statements, account analysis statements and estimates provided by the client. Makes recommendations to calling officer and client for account and service combinations that will best serve customer's needs and operational flow. Accompanies calling officers when cash management cross selling appears appropriate.
4.Analyzes current product/service mix for existing customers. Meets with those clients to discuss recommendations and options.
5.Responds to standard Requests for Proposal and assists the Corporate Services Manager with complex RFPs, as needed. Makes presentations when necessary.
6.Provides customer service and support on all cash management products including: account reconciliation, automated and custom lock box processing, cash concentration, Controlled Disbursement, ACH services, sweep account processing, line of credit sweep processing, zero balance account processing, online banking solutions including ACH and wire transfers services, Remote Deposit, Corporate Card Program, and Positive Pay services.
7.Performs on site client visits for installations, set-up and training for all cash management products. Provides customer service and support on all cash management products. Calls on clients to ensure their needs are being met, and to enhance the customer relationship and cross-selling additional services. Exhibit proficiency in training clients on all cash management products. Training should include Rules & Regs, processing requirements/guidelines and best practices.
8.Assists Corporate Services Manager with new product/service development and implementation including: pricing/cost analysis, customer needs assessment, setup and implementation of system, training of staff and customer, and documentation of procedures and product features.
9.Ensures proper account documentation and all requisite agreements are executed and that all setup documentation is received from the client/account officer as required by regulation. Verify accurate pricing and track implementation progress. Processes and monitors all account analysis relationships for profitability/loss and all "special" account analysis service fee assessments.
Performs testing and verification as needed on bank systems for new client set-ups and for the scheduled releases, as needed.
Completes timely recording of monthly reporting to include sales activity.
Works with managers and calling officers to communicate Cash Management's goal to assist them in retaining current customers, enhancing current relationships, attain new customers, and trains staff on the benefits and advantages of using cash management services.
Refers opportunities to business partners throughout the bank for insurance, investment, loan, mortgage, personal banking and other services outside of treasury management services.
