Job Summary:
The Cash Lead is responsible for maintaining customer service as per company standard, for the efficient expedition of all customer transactions as well as ensuring proper control and monitoring of Point of Sale and cash office activities. This position regularly performs cashier duties.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides customer service by promoting a fun and exciting shoe shopping experience

  • Oversees work of cashier department personnel

  • Monitors Point of Sale activities and ensures department standards are met

  • Ensures customer loyalty/rewards programs and promotions are in accordance with policy

  • Manages cash office procedures


  • Customer focused, attention to detail and basic mathematical skills required

  • One year previous cash handling experience preferred

  • Ability to work flexible work schedules including nights, weekends and holidays

VIEW JOBS 10/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-13T00:00 Job Duties: - * Perform service and regular preventative maintenance work on conveyor systems including fabricate, install and repair conveyor systems as planned while keeping appropriate maintenance records. * Test and trouble shoot problems with equipment, conveyors, v-belt transfers, Bombay unit sortation system, carton erectors, banding machines, MCC cabinets, stretch wrappers, vision systems, scanners, printers, facility systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, elevators), forklifts, and anything else associated with the operation of a distribution facility. * Repair or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters, etc. as needed * Set up and operate welders, drill press, grinder, hand tools and other metal working equipment as necessary. * Troubleshoot micro controllers like Omron, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Keyence, and Siemens PLCs with the ability to identify correct I/O points as well as match the addressing with machine schematic * Evaluate, detect and report equipment, defective material, improper operations and unusual conditions. * This position supports a 24/7 environment and requires on-call coverage after normal business hours and on weekends. * Other duties as required and assigned Requirements: * Associate's Degree in technical field or equivalent work experience. * Minimum 5 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience * Excellent analytical / problem solving skills required. * 3PL warehousing, distribution center or fulfillment experience preferred * Varied industrial or distribution background is a plus. Key industries include food and beverage, retail and apparel, FMCG, healthcare, and automotive * PC literate with proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, and AutoCAD * Have a good working knowledge of safety circuits, relays, interlocks and E-stop circuits * Able to lead a team effectively and build strong relationships with employees, customers and other department managers. * Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop relationships with a range of internal and external customers * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual * Ability to write routine reports and correspondence * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, metric-driven environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk.
