Job Description

The Cash Applications Specialist will be responsible for the timely and accurate application of daily payments received through lockbox. This role will be accountable for adherence to strict monthly cash close deadlines. The Cash Applications Specialist will ensure the accurate coding of all identified and unidentified residual cash balances. The ideal candidate for this position will have recent demonstrable experience applying cash payments in SAP along with experience working within the beverage industry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform the timely and accurate posting of all outstanding check, wire, EDI and ACH payments received in our lockbox on a daily basis

• Work with the collections team to promptly identify, research, review and code any unapplied cash within established SLA guidelines and month end close requirements

• Process manual credit card payments in accordance with PCI compliance standards

• Perform additional AR project work and responsibilities as requested by manager

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline preferred

• 2+ years of related Cash Applications experience in SAP preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills both internal and external to the organization

• Recent hands on experience with SAP strongly preferred

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint required

• Excellent problem solving, analysis, organizational and time management skills

• Strong customer service mindset

• Ability to lead and thrive in a fast-paced changing environment
