Cash Applications Specialist

Summary:

The Cash Applications Specialist is responsible for all cash application functions. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Essential Functions:

• Apply cash remittances, consisting of lockbox deposits, credit cards, CHAX and ACH / wires, accurately and in timely manner.

• Assures all monthly, weekly and daily deadlines are met in the cash applications process.

• Complies with established company criteria for accuracy of cash application.

• Balancing to entries posted in ledger.

• Special projects as assigned.

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

• High school diploma.

• 2-3+ years' experience in line-item cash applications.

Position Requirements:

• This is an in office position at our Quincy, MA location. No remote or hybrid flexibility.

• Intermediate skill level of MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

• Self-starter; able to take initiative and make decisions with minimal direction in a high-pressure environment.

• Ability to prioritize to successfully balance multiple tasks and requests.
