Here's a role where you would interact with a variety of individuals and enjoy the satisfaction that comes with helping your coworkers resolve issues. As our new Cash Applications Representative, you would work as a vital part of the accounts receivable team, assisting with posting payments, handling refunds and maintaining the daily spreadsheets for cash payments. This is an excellent learning opportunity for a recent college grad!
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
Processing premium write-offs, excess cash/credit memos, premium refund requests, returned checks, voided premium refunds, and Forte service requests
Researching and resolving issues
Ensuring that each cash receipt batch is posted, balanced to bank deposit and applied
Generating daily journal reports to verify application
Organizing bank reports
Maintaining daily cash reconciliation spreadsheets for each lockbox
Resolving check trace items by contacting customers
Tacking and posting premium receipts received in a prior period and resolved in the current period
Tracking and posting transfers to and from premium lockboxes
Issuing letters to customers for premium checks that cannot be deposited
Identifying, tracking, and resolving bank issues
Providing support to the Cash Applications Senior Representative with monthly, weekly, and daily tasks assigned by department Team Leader
