The Public Sector Lockbox business is a 24/7 operational unit which provides a variety of services to government clients to assist them in managing their receivables and important documents. The functions of this business include Mailroom, Batching, Scanning, Dispatch and Data Entry for a variety of clients. A successful candidate must be able to work most holidays and weekends, and successfully complete the background and Treasury File process.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility for this position is to process Public Sector applications specifically in client-impacting and quality control functions such as intercept, sRGB review, end-of day cutoff, dispatch auto verification, reject processing, data entry, etc.

  • Responsibilities may also include accurate data entry of both alpha and numeric data entry to process Public Sector Records

  • As a critical member of operations production team, meet and/or exceed production and quality standards across minimum of three of the site's functional areas, as well as being a subject matter expert

  • Professionally interact with team members, peers and managers across shifts to ensure client timelines and quality requirements are met

  • Fully understand the full operational flow and perform multiple operational functions as business needs fluctuate throughout the business day

  • Within a strictly regulated environment, adhere to all departmental policies, client requirements, and compliance guidelines

  • Expected to identify potential issues, recommend solutions and escalate to local management as necessary

  • Expected to identify and submit process improvements

  • May support training needs

  • May participate in projects and/or committees as appropriate

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • A demonstrated history of strong interpersonal skills and positive peer engagement experience in a diverse environment

  • Public Sector Lockbox operations experience preferred

  • Strong proficiency and productivity in at least three functions (mailroom, batching, scanning, data entry, dispatch, and etc.) Proficiency includes all aspects of that function

  • Must have consistently proven high quality metrics above standard in the functional areas

  • Must have strong attention to detail, proficiency with numbers, and solid organization skills

  • Demonstrated ability to appropriately respond under pressure and effectively multi-task in a fast paced environment

  • Demonstrated history of flexibility, performing various functions within multiple functional areas

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office required. TMS and Citrix skill preferred

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to perform a full shift of standing and lifting up to 40 lbs.

  • Demonstrated history of working independently while being a respectful team member

  • Able to work additional hours based on business needs

  • Able to work a weekend day

  • Manual dexterity required, all tasks are repetitive

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (green card) is a prerequisite for this position

  • Must pass an extensive background check (renewed every 5 years)

  • High School diploma or GED required

Business Overview: The Public Sector Lockbox business provides a variety of services to government clients to assist them in managing their receivables and important documents. It is a 24/7 operational unit. A successful candidate must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule. Successful completion of the background and Treasury File process is required. Roles and Responsibilities: The UAT Specialist II (B11) role is part of a team of specialists that provide user acceptance testing for Public Sector applications and systemic processes. The Specialist must have the aptitude and capability to test application functionality, as part of the development/test cycle in preparation for the production implementation of each project, systemic change or application upgrade. Ideally for this role, the candidate will have previous testing experience within an operational or technology team or has had technical support experience. The team has exposure to Operations, Technology, Implementations and Relationship Management in their day to day responsibilities. The team also provides assistance to the Production Support Team. Responsibilities: This team provides user acceptance testing for any proposed client/internal change to Public Sector lockbox application platforms and workflow. This team will also provide assistance to the Production Support team. * Support of ongoing projects using the North America UAT Test Methodology and keeping the manager and team lead apprised of the progress through regular updates. * Maintain full responsibility over the testing cycle for assigned projects. * Plan and coordinate all phases of testing lifecycle activities: o Development of Business Scenarios, Test Script, Testing Strategy documents * Understanding Technical documentation and interpreting the requirements to logical testing requirements. * Conduct business scenario meetings with cross functional teams to define testing coverage based on functional requirements. * Maintaining UAT project plan or timelines * Include accounting of hours of effort at a project level to be utilized for billing client * Maintain downtime reports * Creating Test Process Documents (simulated documents for testing – checks and client documents) * Test Execution simulating Operations Processes in a controlled testing environment, * End to End testing through entire lockbox workflow * Focused testing of specific processes (i.e. PIMS, PIQS, etc.) * Familiarity with Mainframe Processing and the interdependencies of server driven applications. * For example: Editing Mainframe jobs to ensure programs are pointing to the correct libraries of the developer for test execution, understanding the IOF Mainframe Utility to assess the Failed Steps as it pertains to the Abend Code, copying of jobs from the appropriate libraries over to Testing DSN, etc. * Validation of all output against expected results based upon test scenario * Defect management as defined within the NA UAT Test methodology. * Understand the impact of all defects * Ability to define level of severity based upon modules being testing * Work with technology and operations to determine root cause and resolution of defects * Active participating in Project Meetings, * Creation and distribution of daily metrics against the testing progression. * Familiarity of all hardware – ability to troubleshoot issues to determine next steps for scanners and other hardware within the lockbox * Understand how UAT supports the software/system development life cycle * Prepare and submit all testing documents for review by the UAT project review teams * Work with project review team on any discrepancies. * Have a complete understanding of the Operations production workflow for all lockboxes. * Capability to recreate processes and simulate production work within the testing process * Capability to recognize processing issues during testing that would impact production * Maintain Procedural Control Manuals (PCM) * For UAT Process * For the end to end systems, including lockbox applications, mainframe, hardware, etc. * Capability to train Production Staff on any change or new processes resulting from new projects.
